Gay weddings and same sex marriage are now legal in Kefalonia and in whole Greece. The official legality of same sex marriages may vary from country to country, and there are changes to these laws all the time. However, if you want to exchange vows, hold a commitment ceremony or get married legally with the one you love on this beautiful island, you can do.

Official same-sex weddings are currently legal also in Greece and there are no residency rules. If you wish just to hold a same sex symbolic ceremony and exchange vows, no legal documentation is required.
